Refund Policy

This Refund Policy forms part of, and is governed by, the Terms of Service, including the limitation of liability, governing law, and dispute-resolution provisions in those Terms.

Free 7-Day Trial

KeywordOrbit offers a free 7-day trial with full access to the Full Version features and a limited allocation of credits so you can evaluate the Software. No credit card is required and no charge is made, so there is nothing to refund. When the trial ends, your account converts to the free version of the Software — nothing renews and you are not charged.

One-Time License (Full Version)

The Full Version is a one-time purchase — there is no subscription and no recurring charge.

14-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked. If KeywordOrbit isn't right for you, email us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you in full. You don't need to give a reason, and your refund is not reduced or voided by how many credits you have used — run the entire included allocation, decide it's not for you, and still get your money back.

When a refund is issued, your license is deactivated on all devices and any remaining credit balance is forfeited. The Full Version includes a one-time credit allocation; additional credits can be purchased separately as credit packs.

Credit Packs

Credit packs are a separate, optional purchase and are non-refundable once purchased. This does not affect the 14-day guarantee on your Full Version license above. Unused credit pack credits remain in your account and do not expire while your account remains active.

Credit Balances

Credits have no cash value. Once a credit has been spent on a search volume lookup or any other metered action, it cannot be reissued, transferred, or converted to cash. This governs credit balances themselves — it does not limit the 14-day money-back guarantee on your Full Version purchase described above. If you believe credits were consumed in error due to a bug or outage, contact us and we will investigate and, where appropriate, restore credits to your account.

How to Request a Refund

Email contact@keywordorbit.com with your order number and the reason for the request. We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy (our payment processor and merchant of record) and typically appear in your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Chargebacks

Please contact us at contact@keywordorbit.com before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. We are happy to resolve billing issues directly and quickly. Accounts with unresolved or fraudulent chargebacks may be suspended or terminated, any active licenses or remaining credits forfeited, and we may pursue recovery of the disputed amount, related fees, and reasonable costs of collection. Initiating a chargeback for a charge you authorized (including a purchase at the price disclosed at checkout) constitutes a material breach of the Terms of Service.

Consumer Rights — EU, UK, and Other Jurisdictions

Nothing in this Policy limits or excludes any statutory right or remedy that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.

If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of purchase. By starting your trial, downloading the Software, or otherwise beginning to use the Software (or consuming credits) before the end of that 14-day period, you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal will be lost once performance has begun and is fully provided, and (in the case of credits) to the extent credits have been consumed. To the extent any withdrawal right remains exercisable, contact us within the applicable period. In any event, our voluntary 14-day money-back guarantee above is offered in addition to these statutory rights and is not limited by this paragraph.

Australian consumers retain rights under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Quebec consumers retain rights under the Quebec Consumer Protection Act that cannot be excluded. Where mandatory consumer rights conflict with this Policy, those rights apply and the conflicting provisions of this Policy do not apply to you, but the rest of this Policy remains in effect.

Fair Use of the Guarantee

The guarantee is offered per customer, not per purchase, and is intended for genuine evaluation. Repeatedly purchasing and refunding, or creating additional accounts to reuse the trial or the guarantee, may at our discretion result in account suspension and ineligibility for future purchases, trials, or promotions. Refunds outside the cases described above are at our sole discretion and, where granted, do not establish a course of dealing or any obligation to grant similar refunds in the future.
